TURTLE HOUSE DESCRIPTION
This OCEAN FRONT 3, 4, or 5 bedroom, (bedrooms not in use are closed off), and sleeping alcove with 2 1/2 baths surrounded by mountains in Makaha Valley, located just 36 miles (45 min.) from the airport. Honolulu and Waikiki are approximately 55 minutes away.
Makaha is a quiet valley on the leeward (dry) side of Oahu where sunshine and sunsets are the trademark.
Enjoy breath-taking unobstructed 180° ocean and sunset views from the lush tropical outdoor living areas ~ outdoor living room, tranquility fountain, free standing Turtle Bar, and 2000 sq. ft. trek deck installed Oct. 20011 with fire pit for tropical evenings.
Your back yard meets the Pacific Ocean. Whale watching (winter) and sport fishing can be arranged at Waianae Boat Harbor, which is less than 5 minutes away.
Conveniently located 20 minutes away Kapolei, the second city, provides everything from shopping at Safeway to movies at Cinema 16 to sipping at Starbucks. Many restaurants from fast food to sit down await your dining pleasure. Another 10 minute drive takes you to Designer Outlet shopping.
18-hole championship golf course designed by Ted Robinson at Ko Olina are available for your golfing Course as well as the 18 hole East Course in Makaha. Makaha Long Board Surfing Beach is 1 mile away.
Ko Olina Resort and Marina are about 20 minutes away as well. The marina is another location from which to catch snorkel and scuba diving tours or whale and spinner dolphin viewing, charter a boat, or reserve a seat for deep-sea fishing. This is also the location of the best luau on the island at Paradise Cove, and fine dining is offered in the area with restaurants like Roy’s, J.W. Marriott, Aulani, Assaggio and Chuck’s Steak House.
Branching out on the island, you can enjoy Hanauma Bay, Hawaii’s only Nature Preserve, or hike a rainforest trail to an historic outlook. The tour continues with the Pali Lookout, Waiamea Bay, and the big wave beach on the North Shore, while historical and cultural highlights such as the Arizona Memorial, Punchbowl, Iolani Palace, and the Polynesian Cultural Center add to the list. - approximately 2460 s.f. of indoor living space and sleeps up to 12. There is also a 1150 s.f. outdoor living room, with tranquility fountain, and a separate 250 sq. ft. tropical bar.
-The tropical bar is equipped with ice cooler, refrigerator, outdoor CD sound system, and blender for those delicious Hawaiian fruit smoothies.
-Built in gas barbecue.
-Lush tropical lighted landscaping, outdoor shower, and 2,000sq. ft. trek with fire pit.

FOR LARGE GROUPS: *We can accommodate 12 overnight guests in the Turtle House and 8 additional guests in the Fan House (6 houses apart).
Terms
50% Rental Rate Deposit is required to secure your reservation. Balance due 60 days prior to your arrival.
Non-refundable one time cleaning fee performed after your departure and applicable Hawaii taxes are required.
We require a $2,000.00 refundable security deposit. The security deposit is 100% refundable after the house has been inspected and there is no damage/loss/extra cleaning.
Cancellation and Refunds
Guests canceling will receive refunds only if the unit is rebooked for their reserved dates or portion thereof. We will make every effort to rebook any cancellations. We recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
